I Know Quite Well That Many Will Try to Fight and Rebuke Me on This, But I Don’t Care. You Can Rebuke The Truth, Kick The Truth, Embarrass the Truth, Jettison The Truth, Even Bury The Truth But Hear This, The Truth Must Resurrect. Take a Clue From The Truth Himself JESUS, When He Was Buried, The Grave Couldn’t Hold Him Captive, He Resurrected . “All that is Necessary For the Triumph of Evil is That Good Men do Nothing.” To Be Candid This Morning, I Am Sad. Why Was I Sad? I Was Sad Because The Church Can No Longer Differentiate Between a Missionary and a Pastor. They Categorized Them Together. Why? I Was Sad Because Missionaries Have Also Abandoned Their Calling and Are Now Struggling With Positions and Promotions in The Church. Why? I Am Sad Because Only Few Are Now Doing Rural Missions. Urban Missions is What Everyone is Panting After. Why? Nobody Wants to Hear Kano, Kaduna, Borno, All They Want to Hear is Canada, Us, UK I Am Sad Because The Church Will Train and Equip Missionaries All Over The World and Later Abandoned Them on The Field. Why? I Am Sad Because The Missions School Will Train Them and Post Them Out to The Field Without Proper Monitoring of How They Are Coping on The Field. Why? I Am Sad Because Most of The Time The Missions School Normally Come Alive is When a Missionary Commit an Error on The Field. Why? I Am Sad Because Missionaries No Longer Celebrate Others. They Are Only Waiting to Hear One Bad News of Their Colleagues Falling into Sin of Immoralities I Am Sad Because The School Will Train Foreign Indigenous Missionaries, Send Them Back to Their Countries and Totally Abandon Them. Why? I Am Sad Because The Church and The Missions School Normally Brag of Conquering The Whole World With The Gospel. When We Have Done Nothing. Why? I Am Sad Because Most of The Senior Pastors Sees Missionaries as Second Class Citizens. Why? I Am Sad Because Many Missionaries Are Dying of Hunger Everyday. Why? I Am Sad Because Those Disbursing Goodies Meant For Missionaries Are Also Bias, Sentimental and Corrupt. Why? I Am Sad Because Clothing Materials Meant For Missionaries are Sometimes Diverted to Wrong Channels Due to Their Personal Aggrandizement. Why? I Am Sad Because Many Missionaries are Now Struggling For Promotions and Ordinations. Neglecting Their Main Calling. They Just Want to Belong. Why? I Am Sad to See Some Missionaries Now Driving a Senior Pastor Just Because They Are Looking For Favour From Men. Are You a Driver? Why This Nonsense? I Am Sad Because No One is Interested in Going to Dark Places of The Earth Again and The Few That Are There Are Not Enjoying The Backing of The Church. Why? I Am Sad Because Many Missionaries Are Now Mission Field Themselves Because They Rely on Those They Are Leading For Food and Shelter. Why? I Am Sad Because Majority Have Quitted and Many More Are Planning to Leave The Field Because the Church Don’t Have Plan For Them. Why? I Am Sad Because Jesus Is Sad When Great Commission is Not Giving The Proper Attention. I Am Sad When Our Leaders Can Not Go to The Field and They Failed to Support Those That Are There on The Battle Field. Why? I Am Sad When All We Say Now is “Here Am I, Send Them” I Am Sad Because We Make More Noise than Impact. Let Us Return Back to Missions. Let Us Take Good Care of Our Missionaries. An Unhappy Missionary Can Not Achieve Anything School of Missions Should Look After Those on The Field, Call Them Often, Send Them Gifts, Make Them Feel Important, Encourage Them Don’t Wait Till They Fall Victim on The Field Before You Start Shouting He or She is Not Born Again Before How Can A Missionary in A Country of 98% Muslims Be Lamenting on What to Eat? Don’t Allow The Children of the Missionaries Be Cursing the Day God Called Their Parents. Many Missionaries Are Crying in Secrets Saying God, Please Come and Help Me Like Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti Sang, Suffering and Smiling. That is the Stories of Many of Them My Prayer is That God Should Redirect the Steps of The Church From Raising Funds to Raising Men and Women For the Kingdom All Faithful Missionaries May God Crown Your Efforts. May He Reward Your Labour of Love. May You Finish Well. You Will Not Fall, You Will Not Fail, You Will Not Falter in Jesus Peerless Name.
